  • CGI Blog Series – “Making sustainability a differentiator in global trade finance” (CGI, July 2021).  In a multi‑part blog series, Nancy analyzes how supply‑chain finance can drive sustainability:
     
    • Part 2 – Motives for Sustainable Finance (14 July 2021).  Reflecting on Henry David Thoreau’s essay “Life Without Principle,” Nancy argues that banks should consider environmental, moral and economic motives when financing global supply chains and that stakeholder expectations are pressuring banks to embed sustainability into risk models and financing terms. cgi.com
       
    • Part 3 – Using SCF as a Carrot (14 July 2021).  Nancy examines current practices through real‑life examples, noting how Alibaba and Puma use sustainable supply‑chain finance (SSCF) programs to reward suppliers who meet sustainability standards. cgi.com

  • CGI Women in Banking Roundtable – “Is Future‑Proofing a Worthwhile Investment?” (CGI, 2022).  In this roundtable, Nancy and other CGI experts discuss whether banks can realistically prepare for the future.  Nancy explains that future‑proofing means “staying ahead of the curve” by digging into factual research and being flexible; as head of CGI’s Trade Innovation Lab, Nancy emphasised the responsibility of future‑proofing the Trade360 platform. cgi.com

  • Trade Finance Technology Commentary:
     
    • In TXF’s article “What to expect in the coming trade tech revolution” (Oct 2018), Nancy commented that trade finance is “ripe for process improvement” and that emerging technologies like blockchain force a rethinking of asset ownership and risk management. txfnews.com
